This place is amazing. You get in-depth explanations about papermaking, bookbinding, printing, embossing, and typesetting. Every floor offers a hands-on experience, including making your own paper and paper marbling.

I stumbled on this gem during a memorable stroll through the beautiful St Alban-Tal Quartier. Young and old will marvel at the old watermill that powers the paper factory machinery, and the gift shop has a lovely collection of decorative wrapping paper and stationery.

Great place to learn about the historic art of paper-making & even give it a try yourself. Good place for the kids, snacks available. Well worth the slight detour, nice city walls & tower nearby.

We visited with our young daughters. While they enjoyed the hands on activities I don't think the price of admission is worth it.

The Paper Mill Museum takes you back to the times paper was made by hand and takes you on a long journey through the history of the most ubiquitous item. You can see various types of paper and presses, as well as different types of writing.
