We parked at the visitors car park for free. There were only two other cars parked up, we didn’t see anybody else during our walk.
The visitors centre was closed - make sure you have everything you need before setting off.
Quite an easy walk along a winding path up to the top.
Unfortunately for us a storm set in so we weren’t able to fully enjoy the views!
Nice way to spend an hour or so.

No need to re-iterate how fantastic the views are. You can see everything in the area from up there.
There is a way to park just at the entrance of the park, just follow str. Pantano Pieve Petroia all the way to the end. From there you are at the entrance of the park and it will take about 40 min walk to the top.

A great walk to the top, amazing views, interesting path up and down. NB the parking lot on the Strada Canneto is easy to find but not safe. We had a car break in:( so don't leave anything valuable in the car and leave it so it's easy to see it's empty.

We parked in the lot and climbed up the mountain on a wide path. It was incredibly hot. But the view at the top was worth it.

Situated in beautiful countryside this little village is worth a visit. Fabulous views all around. No cafe though.

great hike, nice and cool on top on the hot days, and sublime vistas. look for the ancient ice factory on top :)
