Going from the Cathedral and the beautiful stone fountain along the hilltop crest, past the medieval Palazzo dei Priori and other historical buildings, down to a garden overlooking the surrounding hills it captures the essence of Perugia.

We wandered Perugia and walked the many streets shopping, people watching and enjoying wine and appetizers. Corso Vannucci is a nice walk to experience the flavor and the atmosphere of the Umbrian city of Perugia especially at night

For an nice afternoon in the heart of Perugia, visit the Main-Road of old town, here reign a beautiful ambiance, many little local craft shops, cafes and restaurants, nice historic palaces and buildings tell us about her history.

This is one of the many places in the Piazza Della Republica that specialises in pasta and pizza. We had a bottle of Montefalco Red that cost 19 euros and two Stagioni pizzas that cost a total of 15 euros. The waitress got a bit...More

This beautiful pedestrian street is one of our favourites in Italy. We never tire of rambling along it. And it is especially atmospheric during the excellent Umbria Jazz Festival.

It's a busy street going right thru the center of the old town. There are vendors' stalls (of a farmers' market) where you can buy some local food and crafts.

Corso (from italian "main street") is very popular among locals and tourists. It's good to take a walk here or visit the shops (Intimissimi, Tezenis, Stefanel, beauty shops Kiko and Limoni, Coccinelle, Furla, Bata, etc.), cafes (Ferrari bar for cocktails and snacks, Sandri for good...More

An average street. It is a Main Street in the old city of Perugia. The street has many old buildings, some cafes and pizzerias. It has many shops, too. But it has no life in it! There is nothing special about it.

Loads of character, upscale shops, quaint restaurants, vibrant, great place to spend an afternoon. Walk the full length of the road to avoid missing anything - there is a great galleria and park overlooking Perugia and the Umbrian countryside.
