I was staring at the 22 apples hung on the wall of Hotel Pallota and was glad that the owner, Stefano, introduced me to Raffael Ariante. ‘Which is your Apple?’—what an interesting concept, the artwork which depicts original sin (of human!) straddled between Heaven and Earth! I had to go to his gallery and pick my own apple!
Instead, I felt encouraged by the elephants taking flight- I know where I would hang this! There are so many more ‘energetic’ pieces brimming with consciousness and artistry. I could imagine Raffael passionately working on the pieces, having so much fun that they are masterpieces. Highly recommend a visit if you are in Assisi.

Raffaele is amazing! His passion for painting, his excitement in speaking of his art and the story it tells, and his overwhelming ability to charm is wonderful. I was thrilled to be invited into his studio to paint with him and be part of his artistic world. Raffaele is someone you meet and will never forget and quickly know you've made a new friend. Don't miss out visiting his wonderful studio while in Assisi. His art is beautiful and full of color, full of life, and is a representation of him on canvas, wood or whatever element he paints on. Raffaele and the introduction to his art was a definite highlight of this trip to Italy. I can't wait to return.

There are lots of Artisans along this little street, all very talented. Raffaele won me over with his sweet personality and charming style. His art is bold, colourful and as full of life as he is. If you like an uninhibited artist, his work will appeal to you!

The art was done with love and skill. A bona fide in a world of fakes. We 2 friends visited and asked about the message in each work. The owner and artist was friendly and gave very in depth description of the birds he'd painted.

Come see the art of Raffaele Ariante. Great art pieces to take home as a reminder of Assisi in full technicolor. Raffaele is a beautiful soul and is very helpful. Help him bring his message of love through art to the world. His collections of Plant Love And Make Life Extraordinary and Birds in Watercolors is a must to take home.
