A fabulous find in Siena. Free entry and we were made very welcome by the informative and knowledgeable curator Andrea Benocci. Interesting specimens and exhibits, has something for everyone.

There is something for everyone here - geology, zoology, anatomy. Entry is free. There is a section that contains some curious specimens of conjoined animal twins. So if you taking children and you do not want them to see this be careful. I throughly enjoyed...More

Thoroughly enjoyed my visit. We went on a Friday at noon and were the only people in most of the exhibits. I can't believe it is free and so much to see. Must go if you are a bit of a geek! My favourite experience...More

This is a museum that belongs in a museum, full of scientific and historic artifacts from all kinds of categories: geology, zoology, anatomy, botany, etc

A very nice far reaching museum displaying fine Art as well as natural curiosities. It's a walk through Renaissance history with you moving at your own pace. Viewing area, nice shop & friendl helpful staff. A bit out of the way but worth finding...

Has a lot of renaissance period art and sculptures, a lot of Pisano. Also includes a panoramic view, which requires you to climb either 70 or 120 additional steps. If you are afraid of heights- skip it
