Siena really is a magical place and the view from the top of the palazzo is banging. I would recommend the place but would say that there isn’t a great deal to do inside. Regardless history not worth missing.

Palazzo Pubblico is the heart and soul of Siena and a definite must visit. My wife and I throughly enjoyed walking through room after room of breathtaking paintings and frescos. Besides the art work, the building itself is amazing. This building is still the city...More

The city hall with its huge tower is the most prominent building in the square. It was apparently the center of activity in the city in olden times. Went in for a brief look inside only. Didn't have time to browse through the museum, though....More
