A relatively small museum so it doesn't take long to go around but definitely worth seeing. Many beautiful frescoes

This museum was small, but the frescoes are great! It doesn’t take long to go through the whole museum, and it is a nice place to stop when it is hot.

The Palazzo Publico - City palace - was built int e 13.th century. The building itself is something very nice, but the museum of it is full of history. There are a lot of art work to see.

Museums in Italy so far have been outstanding however this one didn’t live up to expectations. If you have children and have a museum “limit” you wouldn’t go through this one.

A museum with a wedding chapel, a pictorial of its history, but more importantly the location of 2 famous frescoes depicting the results of "good" government versus "bad" government in Siena. Certainly a must see.

We visited the Museo Civico while waiting for access to the Torre Del Mangia, and it was time well-spent. Siena is a breathtakingly beautiful city, and its history is rich and interesting. It was particularly fascinating to see the lengths to which the city strove...More

Smallish museum, interesting history as well as beauty. I particularly liked the fresco depicting government figures - some portrayed as devils - some things never change!
