We very nearly missed this one and only found it on our last day. If we had missed it we would have missed one of Siena's real gems. The fresco's in the chapel are a real treat and compared to many of Siena's churches this...More

This castle and church could be easily missed, but they are certainly worth a bit of a side trip between the main cathedral area and the bus station. Free to look around and beautiful inside, don't miss it!

Quiet and peaceful Casa to visit the patron saint of Siena. Interesting to find out about her life and influences. The floors and artwork inside are beautiful.

Lovely atmosphere here, a kind of cloisters set beside the street of fabric dyers where St Catherine was born. Looking into her life, she was a very interesting and influential woman.

It's definitely worth a visit. in particular the chamber with the frescoes is something special and makes the visit worth it, give yourself time to appreciate it. the rest of the complex is fairly standard and you can go through it quickly
