Wonderful chef Lella!! She taught us authentic cuisine- Spinach ricotta Ravioli in sage butter, Lella's Pappa col Pomodoro was a delicious hearty Tuscan bread and tomato soup and to end with, she taught us how to make Ricciarelli cookies which were out of the world!!! My favourite authentic food experience in Italy, definitely recommended!! Grazie :)

What a great way to learn traditional Tuscan cuisine recipes and spend a great evening with wonderful people over great food, good wine and interesting conversation. Visited Sienna a couple of weeks ago not only to visit the great city but specifically to spend an afternoon with chef Lella. I had read a newspaper article about the writer experience in... More

Our afternoon with Lella was truly the highlight of our time in Siena. For over three hours it was just my wife and me along with Lella, her assistant and her interpreter, and along with a great introduction to Italian cuisine and cooking we got to know three lovely people. I was actually a little hesitant going in, but we... More

We were just in in Siena a week ago and spent a wonderful afternoon learning how to a traditional Tuscan meal. There were only two of us - so we were grateful that Lella was able to accommodate us. Because Lella fell ill, we ended up having the class with Francesco (chef) with Linda as the translator. Boy we had... More

My husband, daughter and I had a wonderful experience cooking with Lella during our visit to Siena. This was a must do on our trip. We made soup, homemade pasta, pork tenderloin and holiday cookies. The class was informative and hands on. We met great people, learned fabulous recipes and ate delicious food! Was a highlight of our trip! Thank... More

The cooking class takes place right in the heart of Siena. Francesco and Linda (our translator) were warm and informative. We made a great meal which included a traditional Italian soup, homemade pasta with cream sauce, steak filet with sauce and zucchini soufflé. Then finished the meal with a traditional holiday cookie. Lots of information about cooking the Italian way,... More

Took a cooking class in Siena, Italy. Particularly to make pasta by hand. Was able to do that and so much more. The staff are incredible, knowledgable and able to teach. A wonderful translator to English was provided who made the experience so much more as she is local, and felt like family enjoying the experience with us. We made... More

My husband and I participated in a cooking lesson which included making fresh egg pasta; Pork based white sauce; Tagliata, Crostini with caramelized onions, rosemary and lardo di Colonnata; Zucchini sformato and Cantuccini (orange.almond biscotti). It was easy to follow the directions, Lella and her team were so gracious and helpful and the food was delicious. This was my husbands... More

My niece and I are on an 8 week adventure through Europe and booked this cooking class in Sienna. We are still talking about how this was a true highlight of our vacation! We were part of a small group learning to make pasta, sauces, etc... All delicious and such fun. My only wish was we stayed more days in... More

As we were playing our trip to Tuscany, a bucket list item for me was to have an authentic cooking experience. We recently spent 10 fabulous days in Siena and one of the highlights was a private cooking class for the four in our party. While three of the four were more interested in eating and drinking wine, it was... More
