This is a 'must visit' for those staying in San Gimignano. The beautiful, family run Tuscan vineyard offers visitors the opportunity to taste half a dozen types of wine along with various lunch options. We opted for the Truffle lunch, which was simply delicious! Jessica was a very good host and explained the traditions and wines produced by the family.... More

We just enjoyed an amazing 1.5-long wine & olive oil tasting at Podere La Marraonaia during our trip to San Gimignano - it was the highlight of our day! We opted for the wine tasting with antipasto, which was the perfect combination. We enjoyed tasting 6 of the vineyard's wines, of which we got a thorough explanation of each. We... More

Just want to write some extra kudos. We shipped a case of wine home when we visited...not sure what happened, but good wine seems to disappear! I ordered another case for my wife's birthday present...it arrived at my house at 5pm the night of her birthday!! All is well. Support this small, family owned, organic vineyard... you will be happy... More

This winery is beautifully located just outside San Gimignano. The views are amazing! We started visit with a walk in the vineyard. Then we went to the main building, and we provided a room where we had a great lunch and tasting. The wine and good was paired perfectly. The conversation was fun and engaging. The hospitality was stellar!

Our private wine tasting here (upstairs) was nothing short of exemplary. The view of Old town across vineyards is fantastic, and the tasting experience on both wine and pairing service is stellar. We even got our owner/host to sing for us (a cappella) and I was delighted to purchase 1/2 case sent to U.S. home.

Went here as part of a day tour. We were welcomed and given a short walk round the vineyard before being taken to a private room for lunch. The house and vineyards has lovely views of the village of San Gimignano. Here were tried a white wine, a rose and two reds plus a sweet wine. These were served with... More

As you can imagine there are several wine tasting experiences in Tuscany and it is difficult to pick the perfect one. We were looking for a relax experience, including wine and lunch, in an Agriturismo outside the busy cities and that it will allow us to have our one and half year baby with us. La Marronaia offered us the... More

My wife and I had a private lunch/wine tasting in a private room overlooking the countryside. The food was delicious as were the various wines ( had 12 bottles shipped home).

Our trip to Podere La Marronaia was a super experience. We enjoyed a lovely private dining room with a beautiful view. The food was delicious and the wine and olive oil tasting was awesome. We loved hearing the stories about the wine labels and about the creation of the wines. We purchased and shipped wine, olive oil and delicious balsamic... More

My wife and her cousins planned a trip to Italy to trace their roots. I was lucky enough to tag along. We spent a day at Podere La Marronaia. There were 12 of us. We gathered around a huge table and had a ball cooking our meal together. We had the pleasure of meeting Gessica, Sylvia and other members of... More
