On a visit to Lucca you will for sure visit Fillungo. This is the main shopping street - it is narrow and long and typically Italian in feel. Full of amazing small shops ranging from handmade leather shops to ones selling olive oil , there are so many original clothing shops for children,women and so many men’s fashion stores. It is unique and honestly just a joyful experience to walk from one end to the other and enjoy the noises and smells and the sight of everyone just enjoying their day. Also so many gelaterias

Went to wedding at villa of friends. Our luggage was lost, so we had to shop for essentials on Via Fillunga. Excellent!!!

My title says "Lucca's Main Street" but don't let that fool you. It is a narrow, medieval road in the historic town center, full of tiny shops. You can find art, clothing, crafts, souvenirs and other merchandise, as well as gelato and food. The Piazzas along the route have nice patio restaurants and cafes where you can rest, recharge and plan your further exploration. Very scenic and fun!

This is the main street that runs through Lucca's historic centre. It is also the city's main shopping street, typical medieval in its aspect. Along the street there are many shops that belong to modern business chains but also many shops with an old-fashioned atmosphere. On the northern part of the street, beyond the Porta dei Borghi, there are many good bars. You will also pass many of the city's sights as you walk around here, such as the Piazza dell' Anfiteatro, the Basilica di San Frediaano with its beautiful facade mosaic , the Torre delle Ore and the Churh of San Crisoforo with its Pisan influenced architecture. Of course, it is a must to walk this street up and down a couple of times.

Via Fillungo is one of the main shopping streets in Lucca. It is busy, lively and has a good variety of shops. The independent shops that sit alongside the chains, are particularly good.

Wow this is such a beautiful street with lots of winding alleyways. There is a real historic atmospheric feel. Lots of lovely little shops either side, many with the original name plate above the shop.

This is the main shopping street of Lucca and we found lots to buy from leather goods and fashion to specialty mushrooms. The shops are small and the walk is easy. No cars.

My great grandfather is Francesco Lenci. His store is located on this street. I visited 10 years ago but have lost touch with the family. Do the Lenci Brothers still have their stores in Lucca. I cannot find them on the internet.
