Very attractive walk around the walled city of Lucca. The wall's path is very wide with a good surface lined with trees. It was a pleasant suprise as it was not what I was expecting compared with other city walls I've visited. Ideal for pushchairs...More

This is a short trip from Pisa. Yes Pisa is amazing but Lucca is the charm that Tuscany has to offer. An amazing walled city with tons of charm. You must see this gem.

We can enjoy walking, jogging, riding a bicycle and so on. Quite relaxed and refreshed. The length of the round of the walls (Mura) is 4 km. About 45 minutes' walking. Enjoy!

This was my favorite part of our recent 3 night stay in Lucca. Apart from cycling around the whole perimeter of this wonderful walled city you can also whizz around the many small side streets within Lucca, a great experience.Loved it.

I can only say that these walls are 4,5 KM in circumference, a large portion of that distance covered with trees and make for a wonderful stroll or walk or jog at anytime of day. During your walk/jog/ride you can see both the beautiful old...More
