Rent a bike and ride around the walls. Fun for everyone. One of our favorite things we did. Bicycle rental are inexpensive. You can also ride down into the city and stop for gelato

A wonderful medieval wall to make a walk to run to have a picnic and in general to empty your mind. It is full of trees with great view of the historical center of one of the most beautiful cities of Tuscany!

You can walk all around the town or indeed hire a bike to do the same. Pleasant views with plenty of opportunity for stops.

This is the essence of Lucca, the fortified walls that fully encircled the mediaeval city and now provide a wonderful pathway fro walkers and joggers. A must.

Perfect for a stroll, especially in the autumn when the leaves are turning golden. Allows a fine view of different parts of Lucca.

No cars allowed on the wall - such a nice stroll along the wall. You can experience the history of Lucca while walking this great ancient wall.

At least 2 bike hire places located close to the entry/exit points of the wall. Easy to spot in such a small town.
