The Accidental Tourist was born in the spring of 1998 offering the first single-day hands-on cooking class in Tuscany. We welcome the curious and open-minded traveler in the heart of our Tuscan home, for an authentic yet magical experience. We take a maximum of 8 people, but will go with as few as one: we never leave the solo traveler behind. We welcome families with children as we know how challenging it can be to travel with the young ones in the Old Country. AND, we charge for our tours only if our guests are happy to pay for their day with us.

It was hard to distinguish whether the Ravioli or Mijla's insight, philosophy and fun facts were more filling. We dined on every word, and were immersed into the quintessential Italian experience in her and Marco's castle. I would recommend this experience 1000%, including the wine...More

Our party of 6 Canadian women staying near by were treated to a relaxing, enjoyable evening with an authentic Italian 4 course meal prepared by Marco. The family “ home” is both welcoming and comfortable... And the views from atop the tower are breathtaking!

This class is AN ABSOLUTE MUST. It was hands down our favorite experience throughout our travels. We booked last minute and were lucky enough to get a spot (make sure to read instructions about last-minute inquiries) and we were so fortunate. The class takes place...More
