Stopped here for a quick pint and enjoyed the casual Irish pub atmosphere. A lot of great selection of beer and liquor and friendly service make this a great spot to visit.

Got into Florence looking for a comfortable English speaking pub so I can ease into the city. Came to Lion’s and instantly was hooked. The first day I stopped in the staff chatted me up and i had a relaxing time. I decided to come back the rest of my time in Florence and they remembered me from the first night and it felt like home. Find an Irish bar and you'll find English speakers. The bar was packed inside and on the street until last call. Mostly college age through grad student aged Americans. They have a huge selection of beers light to dark for everyone in your group! Every college t-shirt represented on the ceiling, keep looking you'll find it! I challenge you to find the actual fountain with the lion while visiting. …

Dropped in to watch the World Cup match. Friendly Irish pub with familiar brands and good choice of pub food including burgers, chicken wings fries etc. Staff friendly and attentive and good atmosphere.
