Love this elegant and sophisticated place and trying to visit Olfattorio my every time in Florence. Being located in amazing historical place the boutique has a special athmospere so I do really enjoy wandering from shelf to shelf and experiencing new fragrances there, it's quite a ritual to me. The store selection is really smart and refined but the very... More

I am a regular customer of selective perfumery shops and laboratories in Italy, France and UK. Olfattorio is one of my favourite places to come back every time I am in town because of two reasons: an admirable selection of peculiar fragrances and a highly professional team. The selection fits the requirements of metropolitan cities, which you hardly could expect... More

Looking for a nice gift? Try this place. Attentive service and quality choice for those looking for something unique (e.g. Penhaligon's).

I enjoy visiting original perfume shops - a place where one can engage in new scents and stimulate the olfactory. But the obvious disdain and snobbism demonstrated by one of the three salespersons in this tiny shop made the experience totally perplexing. Obviously they have a precise idea of the type of clientele they perfer to sell to - and... More

Staying in Uffizi

Neighbourhood Profile
Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
