Park was great, especially in this summer heat. There was a public toilet that you need to pay (1€ per visit), but it was open only till 10 p.m., so after the concert we weren't able to use it. At the end of the park...More

A very beautiful park. Lots of greenery. There are set play areas for children which are nice too. Free water fountains are very handy. There are also a few areas that have workout stations which are well maintained.

The Le Cascine is a large park that runs along the River Arno in Florence. I enjoyed the jogging opportunities and running in the park.

I had a quick visit while staying in Florence. The park is large but rather narrow and runs alongside the River Arno. Not many tourists about in the area and its only a 10 minute walk from the busy city centre. Most users tend to...More

I've come to run here many times or simply to take a long walk. It's not a particularly well kept park, but you can get away from traffic and tourists. Mostly there are locals walking their dogs and the occasional jogger. There's a market there,...More

We went to a small section of the park and it was great to have the kids play ball in. Not the easiest place to take a pushchair

Lovely park but we went after market stalls so there was quite a lot of litter. Nice place though and very big. Am hoping to go for a run around there very soon. There is lovely cafe hidden in the park with play area and...More

Literally and figuratively quite trashy. The west side is better with something resembling a true forest. Ok for running or biking. Stick to the river. Closer to it than the "official" path, there's a sandy and less even path with more of a river view.

Santa Maria Novella
Santa Maria Novella train station welcomes the
majority of the people arriving in Florence, which
might explain the hectic pace. Commuters and tourists
come across the constant hustle and bustle of the
station before exiting, taking a few steps and
stopping amazed in Piazza di Santa Maria Novella. It
is impossible not to admire the the square, housing
one of the most charming basilicas in Florence. The
