We did a last minute booking via viator to go on this tour. It was well worth it to see the countryside surrounding Florence. Our guide Simone had a degree in viniculture and was happy to share his love for Florence, and his experience in winemaking with us. The horses looked well cared for and were very calm. We stopped... The tour guide, Valerio Bernini, was well informed about the region and his guests home states and countries. It helped that he was a foodie and wine buff. The horse riding was well run and matched the horses to the riders quite well. The vineyards were very different and interesting. Lunch was fantastic?! Highly recommended

I loved the ride with the horse along the Tuscany hills, vines and olives. It is a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone. You don't need experience with horses at all, for me it was the first time to ride a horse;also, the tour guide was very funny, helpful and nice. As for the wine tasting, it... More

One of the best highlights of my trip was a horse ride around the tuscany valley through the vineyards and olive groves on very docile horses so no need to be afraid if your not an experience rider. This i would recommend without a doubt!!!!! The tour of the wine estate however was a little disappointing..if you could understand the... More

We booked our excursion thru "Accord" (whose customer service is not very good), and we were very pleased with our excursion as we had great guides along the way! Jacopo was our guide and although he is young he knows so much about Italy as a whole and more specifically the tour through the wine cellars, etc. He is a... More

This was the highlight on my Tuscany trip! Everything was taken care of and organized so there is nothing to worry about except to go with the flow and have fun! Jacapo was great and easy going which made this tour feel very casual like you were hanging out among friends! We were lucky to have a small group on... More

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
