We contacted Florence for Foodies just a few days before our trip to Florence and met Sam who was our Nude and Food tour guide on the day. We were especially delighted as it turned out that Sam had decided to run the tour just for us as January is not the height of the tourist season! Having said that... More

FFF's food walking tour was fabulous! Dina took me through the San Lorenzo market and a veritable wonderland of carefully chosen vendors. She was friendly, personable and knowledgeable, which made for a lovely morning of tasting and learning about Tuscan specialties. Don't miss the pecorino with truffles!!

We met Mimi, an Italian art history major, doing her masters. Born and raised in Florence she was the perfect guide. Incredible knowledge of the history behind each building and it added a whole new dimension to the city. She took us to hidden gems and explained the culture and history. I would highly recommend this trip.

This is a wonderful way to spend your first day in Florence -- see the "David" statue, and then walk around sampling wonderful food from classic locales in Florence. What could be wrong with this? Absolutely nothing. Our tour guide, Natalie, was wonderful, effusive, and passionate about Florentine culture, art, and food. She told us everything we needed to know... More

Took the Nude and Food tour in December with Mimi. Because it was off season, there were only four of us (my family) and this was a highlight of our trip! MImi presented great info (she's has a degree in art history I think) and just the right quantity of museum visiting. The food tour was a blast! Mimi took... More

We visited Florence in December and it was a great time to visit! It was cold, but dry and we really enjoyed the smaller crowd scene. We decided to to the Nude and Food tour and the wine crash course. Due to a holiday and shops being open, we did the wine crash course the first day and the nude... More

Being foodies my wife and decided it would be a good use of our time to go on the food and Nude tour in Florence. I have to say that Sam was outstanding, she did a great job sharing about the history of "David", it was the perfect amount of time in the Museum. The food tour itself was very... More

A delightful introduction to the splendours of Florence. The tour of the Uffizi Gallery was so well done that the art came to life. We then visited a local restaurant for the wine tasting. The selections were well chosen and accompanied by exceptional food. It was a wonderful experience. Highly recommended.

My friend and I did the Food and Nude tour. Mama Natalie was our guide. What a perfect tour! I loved starting off with a focused history lesson on Michelangelo and David. I learned more about Italian history/art in this portion of the tour than I ever thought- it was fascinating! Then we moved on to the eating and drinking... More
