You can't miss Piazza della Signoria if you were to go to Ufuzzi from/to Duomo. What a lovely place...to people-watch; to rest; to admire the statues.....

This Square is next to the Uffizi Gallery and is famous for the collection of statues, the Neptune Fountain, which was under construction and is surrounded by restaurants and museums. It gets very crowded art certain times of the day, so early morning is recommended.

The piazza was packed with tourists holding up cell phones. What a sight as hundreds took photos of many different statues. It's quite a festive atmosphere and fun to join in.

Staying only a few minutes walk away from Piazza Signoria. Could have enjoy people watching at the nearby cafe/restaurant instead of waiting for friend in Chanel boutique queueing.. -_- Great architectural.

Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time
will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past
times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can
reach the city center, the Florence that everybody
dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can
experience the rare beauty of the capital of the
Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio
and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the

No the snorkelling is rubbish due to the high number of statues, loggias and palace buildings getting in the way. The complete lack of water beyond that of the basin of the Fountain of Neptune would also be a problem for... More
