Lovely Piazza - great for people watching - comes alive at night when buskers entertain and the square is lit to show off statues beautifully

It is hard work orientating yourself and planning what to do at the Palazzo. Some advice to the people that run the building and to those who are visiting. As you enter the main entrance hall - the gift shop is to your far left (the one thing that is obvious), the room to its right is the ticket office... More

Excellent historical perspective and glimpse into the most secret and well defended rooms of the Palazzo Vecchio. Travel the underground structural section then the narrow secret passages to the art laden treasury of alchemy. Pass through a secret panel, up another passage into a second room with fresco ceiling for smaller valuables. Next, the enormous Salone dei Cinquecento. Finally, the... More

All has been said before. It's simply breathtaking. Free to walk through for a quick look walking through to the piazza with all the statues. Just fantastic. Love Florence. Love the talent and art.

Did this tour after Vasari corridor. We walked around alone and wanted to take it all in without guides telling us the whole story. Peaceful beautiful. My favorite attraction in Florence.

One of the under-rated attractions of Florence, a must-visit according to me. Consists of 3 parts: 1. An underground section which shows an excavated section of a amphitheater, over which the monument is built 2. The palace section, with the rooms and decorations for the royal family 3. The tower - It is a long climb, but you get breathtaking... More

It is very nice, it is in a historical square, near the loggia dei lanzi so it cannot be missed at all. Outside they have a replica of the statue of David.

I got the ticket for the museum and tower - the museum was really cool - lots of rooms to go through, all with frescoes on the ceilings and walls. My favourite room was the maps room - so cool to see all the different countries! The tower was impressive and view - outstanding! Not to be missed!

Staying in Uffizi

Neighbourhood Profile
Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
