Love Duets’ Concert: you do not have to be a lover of Italian Opera to enjoy this wonderful evening. It’s set in a small church from 1800’s. You have a piano, soprano & tenor performing Opera’s love song and Italian love songs. The setting and performance is overwhelmingly powerful. You’ll be moved to tears by the emotions. Not to be missed.

We saw Carmen in April 2017. My husband loves opera and I'm. It so sure. We had front row seats and loved every minute. They explained each act before it happened so it is a wonderful way for non-opera types to try out opera. The church is beautiful and the people super helpful. The lady checking us in gave us... A pleasant evening of high quality operatic music. The duet voices were superb. Also, helpful with calling a taxi for my return home across the river.

Booked this online before visiting Florence and delighted with front row seats in a church for only 30 euros each - with monies going to a charity for children in India why wouldn't you? We enjoyed Love Duets on a Sunday evening in March, performed to an audience of no more than 50 (so intimate), by an outstanding couple of... More

This was my most memorable night in Florence, by far. I attended a showing of "Love Duets" and it was perfect for opera lovers or hesitant attendees alike. The performance lasted about an hour and a half, including a short intermission where wine was served. The songs were recognizable, so you could hum and sing along even if you don't... More

The host/pianist and both opera singers were terrific (we especially enjoyed the baritone) as was the lovely venue, which has the audience very close to the performers. We went on a weeknight in early March, not high season, so the audience was quite small -- which was too bad; the performers deserved more hands applauding their efforts.

Such a wonderful evening of music and opera, performed by just two singers and a pianist who took the role as host for the evening. We were fortunate to be sat in the middle of the second row, making it an intimate setting for an enchanting evening's entertainment. Such a lovely atmosphere and a truly memorable experience. Bravo!

I agree with the other reviewers , a great evening and good if you want an easy introduction to opera. I had seen La Boheme at Covent Garden and was still moved to tears ! The singers were excellent on the rather small "stage" area and sang all the hits from this opera. I think it was slightly overpriced ,... More

This is the perfect way to see opera in Italy front row seats are €30 each. The performance starts at 8.30pm and you can buy refreshments during the interval. We saw the love duets performance, Franz is a very accomplished pianist whilst Claudia and Franco put on a very high standard of performance. Even for non opera lovers the intimate... More

Professional singers in a small space (the church itself is a very atmospheric high church building). The performance is explained for opera newbies and there is an internal where drinks are available (prosecco €2!). We saw La Boheme which was great. This really felt like an unique experience and good value and it's a lovely thing to do.
