The layout and views are incredible. If you visit in the summer take some water with you as it is hot and the gardens cover a large area. The gardens are based around a hillside which we found to be very exhausting.

The Boboli Gardens are situated behind the Pitti Palace. Tickets are obtained from the Pitti Palace office although they do not have a brochure. Being an elevated site the gardens offered a nice viewpoint over the city. We climbed around to an amphitheatre with formal...More

No flowers, disappointed in that- and lots of stairs- but the views are spectacular. They need to give you a brochure but we got nothing except entrance.

My friend who lives in FLorence Cecile Conde Salvini brought us there after our tour of the city but too late to get in, we saw it from the topview of Michael Angelo, overlooking the river and view of the duomo.

The highlight of my trip to Florence was visiting the Boboli Gardens and climbing up to the very top where there is a rose garden and a 360 view of Florence. It was so beautiful and peaceful.
