We spent our last full day in Florence enjoying this walking tour and cooking class. Our guide, Freddy, was very knowledgable about the city, the markets, architecture and traditional Tuscan cooking style. Together with Carmella the chef and staff, we prepared bruschetta, pizza, Fresca pasta, Ragu sauce, roasted pork and potatoes and lastly the tiramisu. The facilities and staff were... More

Great tour group. Fab and Stefano did a wonderful job leading us through the towns. You need to be in good shape and willing to climb and go down numerous steps. Bring your hiking shoes and camera!

We saw the best of Tuscany. Setefano was an excellent tour guide, personable and well- informed. His enthusiasm for the history, culture, and beauty of the sites he shared with us was contagious. The panoramic views of the Tuscan countryside were incredible. The food and wine were amazing. It was an absolutely perfect day! Thank you,Stefano! Thank you, Walkabout Tours!

Chef Isak led our group. En route to the market, he gave us a brief history of landmarks along our walk. Went to get fresh produce, meat, and cheese. Then met the other half of our group for a 20 min minibus ride to Walkabout facilities higher up. Best lessons in cooking ever !!! Met at 9am and back in... More

His knowledge of the areas we visited, as well as the wine-making process and the wine itself was very impressive and made for a fun learning experience. The drive is beautiful, as are... More

We took this tour last week and it was by far the absolute highlight of our trip to Tuscany. Angel our guide was fantastic - so attentive and knowledgeable. He gave the group a thorough overview of the Vespa and the types of things we would encounter which made us all feel safe and reassured. Although my partner had some... More

I attended this tour, along with my parents, in March 2017. We had a great time. Our guide Stephano was extremely knowledgeable and engaging, and really peaked our interest in the history of the region. Moreover, he was completely approachable and friendly, and very humorous throughout the day. I would highly recommend this tour.

It is definitely a highlight of our tour in Florence. Stefano was a fabulous guide and has made this tour fun. He has very good knowledge about wine. Thanks to him that we are able to understand wine better, from the vineyards to the bottle as he is able to explain to us in simple terms. Many thanks to Mario... More
