My wife and I spent an afternoon driving a classic Fiat 500 around the hills of Florence, with a huge smile on our faces. It was great fun from start to finish. Our guide, Matteo, was excellent and a real bundle of energy and enthusiasm. The scenery was superb, the food excellent and the whole experience one of the most... More

We wanted to explore outside Florence for the day and based on the reviews chose this tour (also linked through Viator web service.) I know it only skims the surface of Tuscany but an awesome overview. Two amazing beautiful towns with so much charm, an incredible lunch with view of San Gimignano and wine and pics, and last stop Pisa.... More

If you want to experience an amazing tour of Tuscany, San Gimiano and Pisa, then Walkabout is the best company to do it with. Our Guide was Lavina and she was the best tour guide, we have ever had..... She was so full of knowledge, and the way she passed on that knowledge was like an amazing story teller. We... More

Martina our guide was great at organising a coach-load of us for the 12 hour trip to Cinque Terre. We visited all 5 villages using a combination of coach, train, walking and hiking. She was very informative about the area, gave a good running commentary and gave clear instructions at every stage. There is a stretch where a significant deal... More

This was a highlight among many on our trip. The scooters were a blast, Angel was a great guide and the food and vistas were to die for. Highly recommend adding this to your itinerary.

So we booked this tour for our 18 daughter as a graduation gift. Do to a loss she was unable to come to Florence with us. We almost cancelled. I am SO GLAD we did not. Angel was AWESOME, very knowledgeable, charismatic and fun. We had the best views and an experience we won't forget. The lunch at the end... More

Absolutely great day with Freddie. Right mix of beautiful and a bit challenging hiking. And plenty of time to enjoy the food and exploring the towns burrowed into the hill side overlooking the ocean. Freddie was focused on an informative and we'll organized day. We recommend this, one of our best tours in Italy.

Discovering Florence surroundings on a traditional Vespa was one of the vacation highlights. The tour is easy and the views spectacular. Lunch is really good and Angel was a great host telling us about the places and really interesting facts about Toscana. Definitely recommended!

Tuscany in a day was a long day but very well judged timings. Siena and the local guide there both superb, the city is wonderful and the cathedral is a gem. Lunch was a nice location. San Gimignano was great to walk around and then a quick stop at Pisa. Gloria the guide on the tour was helpful and informative... More

Staying in Uffizi

Neighbourhood Profile
Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
