We went there for a breakfast. The woman working there wanted to convince us that we should sit at a table, but we just wanted to have a quick breakfast at the bar (which is not unusual in Italy). She was very rude from the beginning on, but it became worse since we said we would like to stay at the bar. When we wanted to pay, she completely ignored us and even though we waved obviously with our wallet, she rather let other customers pay who approached the bar (rigt next to us) and ignored us completely. Btw another guest ordered a coffee that he wanted to drink at the bar as well, she ignored him as well after he said that. Wouldn't go there again. 2 starts because coffee and croissant were good however her attitude was unnecessarily rude.

We had such a great night here on our previous trip. It was comedy night and we didn't understand a thing except for a few words but enjoyed how packed it was. Great service and yummy cocktails. People sit outside the church steps, buy drinks here and take it to go. It is also dog-friendly.

And they do a very nice “ healthy” croissant stuffed with fine procutto & something like provolone cheese for a most reasonable €3 50 .. + excellent €1 espresso coffee(!) ..so whilst it’s self service at the bar, you’re then welcome to take a seat ( no surcharge) ..& it would seem stay as long as you like ! My refuge from a storm prompted my going into what looked a bit of a gloomy ‘hangout‘ for low-income student types..but looks can be deceiving: it was quirky with an amazing jumble of dazzling woodcarvings high above everything on one long wall. A makeshift ‘stage’ at the far end indicated live music might be played here sometimes...? Give it a go if you’re visiting Santo Spirito ..it’s worth trying. Oh & they’re very friendly!

Very chilled out in the early afternoon. Lots of people sitting outside with spritz. We had two coffees and two of their savory crepes- option G was SO delicious and satisfying. Sat with a book for an hour after eating to escape the intense heat. Great spot.

We liked Volume so much we went back a second time. The croissants are awesome, the service and atmosphere are also great. Recommend this to anyone looking for a cafe latte at any point of the day. It is also a bar at night, however we didn't check out the bar scene.
