This place is a little gem, Very clean and comfortable, helpful and friendly staff. Room and breakfast ideal for a short break, 20 min walk into the centre as well as having a cheap regular bus service. An ex monastery this hotel is tranquil with a lovely garden with the original statues in situ. Only minus was breakfast choice limited but adequate . Would definitely return !!

Room was large clean , quiet and a/c was good.
Breakfast free and good. Wifi included. Close to attractions. So nothing else to add. Gray place with good price.

The property is good value for money, a bit dated and basic, but clean with friendly, helpful stuff. It is a walking distance from tourist landmarks. It is located in residence area with many great restaurants with great Italian food.
Very expensive parking for cars in the neighborhood. So, if you can - do not come by car.

The room was so basic, it's sad. It's worse than a third world boarding school. The shower was so small, that I can just fit (and I am a 50kg small female). Marks and holes all over the walls. There was no heating or aircon available when I stayed. There was no fridge or hair dryer. Power points were far from the bed. Bed was uncomfortable. Blankets and bed spread were not clean.
Location is not ideal. It's at the foot of the old city wall which is far from everything for a tourist.
Stay away if you can

I stayed with a group for what should have been 3 nights, the operator placed us in this establishment which for what the group required was not fit for purpose.
The retreat had no lounge for guests, no bar and was generally run down. it would be fine if you wanted to stay in a Catholic Retreat as we were advised on arrival, but we didn’t.
The Management should not have accepted this booking, both they and the group suffered each other with rising tension. We left after 2 nights.

I tried to visit but the convent is owned by a conference center so the Last Supper and complex are not easily accessible. You can see the painting only when there is no conference and since it is a conference center ....well - you do the math!
