We visited Cinque Terre, booked through Viator but Giacomo Seriacopi from Tuscantravellers met us for our small group tour. The tour was fabulous. Giacomo was so informed and considerate of our limited time so I felt he packed in as much knowledge and information as possible. He talked and answered questions with confidence and humor. I loved this tour more... More

We took two tours with Tuscan Travellers, both guided by Jonathan. Both were fantastic (due in no small part to Jonathan) as well as unique, like nothing else we had found to do! The first tour was the Chocolate and Cheese tour...Jonathan took us to to a Dairy (which also made wine and olive oil...because pretty much every place also... More

Simone Giribaldi of Tuscan Travellers arranged 2 all day-wine tours and a seminar on Tuscan wines that were wonderful. Twelve of us were spending the week in Tuscany, and many of us were interesting in exploring Tuscan wines in-depth. Simon arranged for 2 hour wine seminar prior to dinner upon our arrival in Tuscany with, a local sommelier, Riccardo, that... More

We were delighted that we hired Tuscan Travellers for our transfers to Florance and Milan. The drivers were punctual, friendly & knowlegable. We toured Siena and Bologna. I will hire them again.

We were referred to Tuscan Travellers from a friend that used them a few years back for her wedding in Tuscany. We hired them for a day trip to Cinque Terre for 13 people. All I can say is WOW, what an experience. Yaris and Eduardo were the kindest people. Yaris made sure that we had everything we needed to... More

Our family wanted to take a tour of a winery while in Florence. Quite by happenstance, we met Yaris, who at the last minute agreed to take us on a half day tour. We couldn't have asked for a better tour guide. We started at the American Cemetery in Florence where over 4,000 US WWII service men are buried. From... More

We had a terrific day touring three villages in Cinque Terre (Manarola,Vernazza, Corniglia). Our guide, Yaris, was personable, accommodating, knowledgeable and all around a great guy to have lead our trip. The scenery was fantastic, the food delicious and overall it was simply a wonderful way to spend a gorgeous day.

A great tour of Cinque Terre. Jaris, our guide , was intelligent, informed, conversational, and funny. He also is a very good driver, which how great is very important here. Visited three cities, one for an extended stay. Good recommendations for lunch , and an excellent gelato experience. I highly recommend this company, and this guy. Thanks Jaris. You were... More

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
