This museum like many in Italy looks insignificant on the outside. Inside you can get up close and personal with the masterpieces of Signorelli and Fra Angelico. Be sure to see the Chapel below.

The name of the museum does not seem very attractive. However, it is one of the best museums in entire Italy! It houses Fra Angelico's Annunciation, which was just cleaned up. It is just gourgeous. It also houses a collection of Luca Signorelli. Again, do not miss this most attractive museun just judging by the unattractive name.

I'll declare my own area of interest up front so you can see where my bias lies - I only went in to see the gothic/medieval and early renaissance art, the other stuff I had no real interest in. That out of the way you'll now understand if I don't describe in detail some of the other exhibits etc. Anyway,... More
