My favorite place in Sicily. Easily could be a destination by itself. The ambiance of history, culture, culinary and local experience is profoundly enticing.

I had the very great pleasure of meeting Paolo in my grandmother's town of Canicattini Bagni and it was an absolute joy to spend time with him. He is knowledgeable beyond belief and he can communicate very succinctly and passionately historical events, stories, dates, facts and figures - it is truly impressive. I felt like I was on a day-long... More

It is hard to detail the incredible experience I had in Sicily. I traveled there due to the myriad of historical and archaeological sites and expected to visit many of them. But I was truly amazed at the quality of the trip, based on one person, my tour guide, Paolo Gallo. Paolo an owner of Sunny Sicily was so well... More

Paolo Gallo was an absolute surprise as a guide for our Sicily cooking tour...as a former ex-pat who has lived in Germany, Hong Kong and Singapore, I am always disappointed in travelling for short periods of time because I know I will not get to truly experience the culture. But...this was different from any travelling I have done since returning... More

I was able to receive a week long tour from SunnySicily as a member of a photojournalism class travelling to photograph and learn more about Sicilian culture. Some of the locations that we visited during this trip include Alimena, Palazzo Adriano, Catania, Castelbuono, Noto, Cefalù, Taormina, Castellammare del Golfo... and more. That being said, this experience would not have been... More

We had a wonderful experience in Palermo and Trapani Province with Paolo! As an english-speaking driver and guide, he is professional on all fronts, friendly, patient, tireless. He is especially knowledgeable about all things Sicilian and eager to share his wealth of knowledge. Having Paolo as our guide greatly enhanced our experience of Sicily; I don't think I can overstate... More

I never write reviews but SunnySicily DESERVES one! I travel a lot and normally I rent a car to get around so that I can see the sights on my own terms, in my own time. Knowing Italian driving and also that I was traveling with my mom, I decided that I would book a driver for us instead. I... More

Personal tour is what it is, personal. Therefore, the experience that we got out of the tour could go either way and it's entirely subjective. I booked with SunnySicily to visit the baroque towns of Noto, Modica & Ragusa. My allocated guide was Giancarlo and he's very eloquent with the history and of the towns that I visited and he... I agree with the many five star reviews SunnySicily has received. Paolo's infectious enthusiasm for and deep knowledge of Sicily made the trip very special. My friends and I fell in love with Sicily, because we were able to see this extraordinary place through Paolo's eyes. We also appreciated his relaxed style and his great sense of humor. I plan...
