This paid beach is in a beautiful cove.
Costs 15/ person and is next to a public beach but we were happy to pay the premium price for the sundbeds and the umbrellas.
The biggest problem are the various salesmen of boat tours, shoes, toys and foot massages that have literally been pestering us the entire time.
The same people were asking over and over again.
Impossibile to ignore and very insisting.
Absolutely destroying the experience.
Asked the management of the beach and they've said they couldn't do anything about it.
Why are we paying then?

We have been here in taormina for 2 weeks and have spent a lot of our time at mendolia beach club and loved it!!. Yes,we were shocked at the price of sunbeds,35 per person for the day but it's taormina,it's right in front of isola bella and that's the premium you're paying. The sea is fabulous, you can swim to the island or walk over, beach shoes are essential because it's a stony beach. The food at the beach club is absolutely lovely, there's a coperta for sitting in the restaurant like everywhere in italy. you can get snacks also at the self service. It's incredibly busy at this time of year so I would recommend you arrive early to get a bed and reserve for whatever day you're arriving. There's criticism here of the staff,again it's sicily, it's not meant as rude. I have to mention laura who is so friendly and kind and looks after everyone in the restaurant ,totally professional ,she's wonderful it was lovely to meet her. We will be back!!

We went despite the bad comments and we did not regret!
First the price of the deckchair is correct even if we are tourists (10€ for adults, children not paying). We went to the beach right next door, they asked 25€ per person for an average deckchair with a lot of noise.
Children enjoy well here with rocks or play and fish to observe.
Decent restaurant with affordable prices. Possibility to take away to feed the tribe on the deckchair (delicious fries) while we parents are on the terrace.
Dream place for cool budget.
Chinese masseuse offering a back massage for 10€ and full 20€. Frankly nice too.

Terrible! We arrived at around 3pm and the lady didn't even point out to me that they would close the lido at 6pm but we still paid €20. I left my towel on the deckchair as anyone would do when going to the beach, after a few hours of walking on Isola Bella, we returned to the deckchair which they had already closed and I couldn't find the
My cloth. I asked at the register and the guys and they had only found the sunscreen and no one knew anything. But I say, if you go to the beach someone should supervise, otherwise go to the free beach, and thank goodness we didn't leave our bags there otherwise we wouldn't even find them!

Nice beach. If you enjoy pebbles between your toes. 30€ pr. Person for chairs and umbrella is avery steep price as same costs €15 for two persons down in giarre. A perfect beach for those who loves Gran Canaria. Too many tourists for my taste 😁

This lido, bar, Risto, is located on the beach of isola bella in Taormina.
Prices a "lot" higher than average. A simple sandwich(€9.00), a capricious pizza(€15) as if it were gourmet! Large still water bottle €3.00.

My primary issue with this beach club is that they allow vendors to walk through the beach chair area. I couldn’t relax for more than 5-7 minutes without an outside vendor trying to sell me cheap jewelry, fake AirPods, or a massage. It was giving Times Square vibes. Also, the grinata tasted like it was made with artificial flavors, not fresh fruits. I would recommend looking for another beach club.

Nice food options, so much so that we were invited to stop by. After a passable first course (pasta not cooked at the moment) we had some fried calamari... too bad they were squid! Once I pointed this out I was told that they were calamari! So...recommended restaurant for those who gobble up anything, for those looking for good food, don't come!

After a pleasant trip with the cable car and a short walk on to the beach at Isola Bella, today's lunch was taken here. Fantastic location facing the sea and an incredibly good ham with melon, this was a great experience. The price was completely acceptable, and as the service was also good, we made several trips here during our stay.

Right on top of the beach, with a view of Isola Bella this is nice place to go for a meal. They serve good food in large portions. It can be very busy on nice days but the staff is helpful to make sure you get seated when a table becomes available - even when you are with a some what larger group (we were with 6).
