Beautiful sanctuary to the Madonna. Place feels peaceful and blessed. To be honest I don't see this as a tourist place but more of a place of worship. Definite must if you're Catholic.

An interesting building both inside and out. Worth a walk round the museum and the sanctuary. Avoid the toilets!

In the church there is a museum with, among other things, crutches and prosthetic limbs from people who claim to have been healed by saint Mary.

Unique and worth a visit if you are in the neighbourhood in Siracusa. Inside is very unusual and for some certainly inspiring.

Very modern building, can be seen from quite a distance away. There's an interesting video that plays in a side room explaining the story of the crying Madonna
