We saw a 35-minute performance of the puppet theater on Ortigia as part of an organized tour group, and it was a wonderful experience. The show was a melodrama, all in Italian, featuring gallant knights, a damsel in distress, dragons, and villains. Prior to the...More

We actually made puppets at their workshop before the show- amazing time! We have 3 children (10, 8, and 7) and it was a fun activity with the actual show as a great finish. The craftsmanship was amazing in the play- truly a lost art...More

I did not think that I would stay the whole hour for a puppet theatre experience, but I did! The little auditorium was full, there were many children there and everybody seemed to enjoy the performance. So did I!

We saw a wonderful puppet show at 4pm on a Thursday. We speak English for the most part, but the show was in Italian, and we still understood what was going on. They give you a pamphlet before the show starts to tell you what...More

This is a great way to end the afternoon or start the evening. The plot is interesting and the action amazing. There was a full house so be sure to get reservations.

Dear Mr. Michael, I confirm the possibility of making pictures during the show but without using the flash. The museum is located about 100 meters away from the theater and also there is allowed to take photos.
