This church had a very beautiful and unique usage of small construction pieces making up golden mosaics and decorations, something we did not see elsewhere in europe. Very pretty to walk through.

This is one of the Absolute Must Things to Do in Palermo, probably # 1 ? The Palatina is one of the Worlds most Beautiful Churches of all, you have to see it in person to believe its splendidness. See It !!!

Once we saw Monreal, no other sacred space in Palermo was that special. There is much written about the Capella. Wirth r sting about it to learn how to best appreciate it. Better to see it before you see Monreal.
