Of course, coming to Italy, I expected to eat delicious food. However, I did not expect that my delicious food would also be something I prepared myself! What a delight it was to learn to make classic Sicilian dishes at Mamma Corleone! The instructor was a delight, and the translator, Karin was entertaining and helpful and interesting!
Could not have had a better experience, only wish I hadn’t eaten all day so I could have had enough space for all the food we prepared.
Plus colorful aprons (for €5) are a perfect souvenir!
Would recommend to anyone coming to Palermo!

We had a wonderful lesson with Maria Pia and Kharim. It was lots of fun and interesting chatting to them about food and life in Sicily. The food was amazing and I just hope that we can reproduce the meal when we get home… so that it will bring back memories of our fabulous day. I would highly recommend this course to anyone wishing to have a taste of authentic Sicilian good. Thank you so much Maria Pia and Kharim

The cooking class was great. In total it was me and 2 other ladies who were sisters and then Mama Corleone and her assistant who translated between English and Italian for us. We made a shrimp pesto pasta dish, a fish dish and canollo's too!! It was a lot of fun and it was great to learn to make these dishes from scratch and with fresh ingredients.
When we ate the pasta with the pesto and shrimp, it was the best pasta dish I have ever tasted. It was so good. We had a lot of fun and we got to take home any food we had made but didn't manage to eat.
The class is held in a little cosy rustic kitchen but with modern hobs etc so it was very easy to cook in there. At first I was worried I was going to be late as I couldn't find where it was even though I was on the correct street however I found it in the end. It is easy to find, you just go into the street from the main square and just keep walking down until you feel like you are near the end of the street and then you will see a little door on the left with the cooking school name on it.
I had a lot of fun there and would love to do another cooking class with Mama Corleone in the future if I am in Palermo again. Definitely worth booking a class here!

Fantastico! I took 3 other cooking classes with different chefs. Chef Antonio by far was the very best. You not only learn how to make delicious dishes , but you are throughly entertained by Chef Antonio’s charming and humorous personality. You feel like you are cooking and eating with your own Sicilian family. This class is a must while in Sicily.

Cannot rate this highly enough. If we could give it 6 stars we would. Perfect setting, great translator, learned so much! We, as a family of 4 (two teenagers, 15 & 14), enjoyed the company, the lesson (best bit was how to make our own pasta!), the food and the experience. We got to eat some and took the rest away as there was lots left. Pasta alla Norma, meatballs and pistachio dessert, 3 full courses.
Grazie MillE Mamma Corleone!
Tip: location is on the same side of the nursery just a little past it. Look up as there is a small sign which we missed.

We had the best time learning about Sicilian specialities and making the best cannoli ever! Highly recommend this cooking class. It was really fun, informative and lovely to share a meal with the class. Mama Corleone is an absolute delight.

We spent about a week in Palermo and the cooking class w Mamma and translator Rahim was by far the highlight of our trip! We had a wonderful time the entire team, learning cooking techniques that eluded me despite being a good cook on my own. We are so excited to now make pasta and meatballs at home w confidence thanks to this beautiful experience. And the meal was absolutely to die for, exceptional quality and delicious. We recommend this to anyone seeking a traditional and cozy experience! Rahim went above and beyond w a follow-up, sharing pics, and various links of where to go in Palermo. A heartfelt grazie and baci from Jessica and Paul!

Amazing experience all around. Exactly what you would want from a cooking class in Italy.
A lovely lady teaching her native dishes of clean, tasty, Italian cuisine.
