Porto Rotondo is a sleepy fishing village that has been transformed into a planned tourist community. This is “Gentrification” to the extreme. Only the wealthy can afford to live here. The homes are on narrow streets, or well-manicured pedestrian lanes with neat rock walls on...More

A bit 'Beverly Hills by the Sea'. Everything neat and trim and clean, a huge marina with even huger boats.

We loved visiting Porto Rotondo during our holiday in Olbia. It was wonderful to admire the beautiful yachts and enjoy a drink on the edge of the harbour. Definitely worth a visit!

Out of season, Porto Rotondo was almost deserted. Many of the upmarket shops and restaurants were closed. The marina still had lots of boats though, and we did find one restaurant still open for lunch. Pleasant town, but with a slightly artificial feel.
