I booked a 2 night break in the city and was recommended to visit this church by the hotel staff. It's easy to walk to and has a very interesting history. Well worth a visit
Lovely church in Olbia that strikes with its simplicity hence the name of San Simplicio. Stunning architecture with features I've never seen before! Free to visit!
Nice Church from the outside, large information signs but couldn´t find any notice of open hours or possibilities to see the interrior of the building, Sad!
We went in august and not many people visit this place.
This old building is beautiful from outside and inside is just simply.
Visiting on MV Arcadia for a visit to Olbia and found this gem. What a lovely place. Lucky enough to come when a wedding was on.
Have tried several time to view the inside but it is always closed when i go. There are no opening times posted. First time Ive encountered a closed church in italy!
One of the oldest chrches you will ever see. So simple but so special. Weird that the town wasnt built around it. The church is sort of down a back street away from the centre
Close to the Olbia Train Station and close during the office.
I will advise to check opening hours for visit.
You must see it. It is made all from stone. Very old and mystic place. You can walk there from main street in Olbia.
Lovely old church
Shame it was closed would love to have been able to see inside.
Didn't display a time when it was open, otherwise we would have gone back to take a look.
