Very nice museum complex. Next to the very important National archeological museum and the art gallery, you can even access unexpected topics, like Siam art, or anatomical wax, all very interesting.

It is worth taking a few minutes visiting the grounds even if you don’t take the time for the museums. The views are great as are the architecture and the gardens.

Worth a visit both for the view and the museum. And to get there, you walk through the old city or take bus 7 or 8.

This citadel has been adapted to house many historic artefacts as well as preserving some of the old features. The modernisation is used to protect the past. Visitors need to be aware of the lack of English signage, but there is a multiple entry ticket available on request. The views from the top of the walls are worth the visit too!

Half the fun here is wandering around after you've seen the museums - stop at a cafe etc. But the Archeological Museum and the handicrafts museum would be worthwhile even if they were in the middle of nowhere.

On the corner of the Castello sits this museum quarter. To be honest, the museums are only interesting for history buffs or those who like archeology. There is not much art to see, but the complex is nicely laid out.

Well worth a visit. You can witness the extent in which the Romans influenced Sardinia. Plus it is good to go when the temp outside is in excess of 100 degrees :-)

Literally the top of the hill. The site was bombed and left abandoned for WWII until the very dynamic university of Cagliari transformed in the museum complex that it is now. Visit for the museums, the site and the wonderful views.
