Very grand Cathedral, huge interior with a grand crypt underneath. Worth popping into if you are in Cagliari to see the craftsmanship.

With so many churches for tourists to choose from in Cagliari - Cathedral of Santa Maria should be top of the To Visit list.. Stunning architecture, and don't forget to take a trip to the crypt

This was one of the most interesting attractions in the old town on the hill. Definitely made the walk worth the effort. Don’t miss the crypt! The stone carving are beautiful.

We stumbled upon the cathedral when walking to another area! Despite it being extremely busy it was very peaceful inside and well worth going into. Nice surrounding area and walk back down to the front.

A beautiful cathedral with a lot of wonderful stone work but the highlight for me was undoubtedly the crypt, also for it’s stonework and arched ceiling.
