Not quite sure what other reviewers had been drinking before reviewing but this is a dark austere building inside, the cathedral in Cagliari is much more inspiring.

This is a lovely cathedral to walk round and see the many different alters surrounding the outer walls. Very peaceful to sit and take it all in.

This cathedral is pretty austere, and as churches go rather modest. The architecture is not spectacular, but there are some beautiful statues and decorations inside.

Very atmospheric and real feel to this wonderfully old cathedral. It seems to be open all the time even at night. You can go up to the bell tower for a small fee. Didn't do it myself because a bit claustrophobic.

Not to be missed as you stroll the old town of Alghero. Has a beautiful, calm atmosphere. Artworks worth a look but somehow the shape creates a cool, calm oasis.

There is a combination between an very old construction and the newer entrance that feet very well. The chance to visit the cathedral when the organ music play offer more glossy to the marble and brigs apart peace. It is placed in the shopping area...More
