Great beach with not a lot of people and dedicated paid parking for 1.5 euros/hour. Beach bar with pricy food and chair and umbrella rentals for 9 euros/each. We went at 9:30 a.m. and there were only a few people there and it never got crowded. The only negative was once the vendors starting coming around and they NEVER stopped so we felt like we were in Mexico. Hate that, sorry.

it was small and tightly packed - rented chairs for about 6 euro each - tough to find a spot (need to accept you wk get some dirty looks). sand was average, good people watching . water very clear. food was very poor (ordered a burger and that is exactly what I got / no bun etc and very undercooked / rubbery).

It took about 40 minutes to get to this beach from Alghero centre. It is a great beach with more space to sit. It’s possible to hire umbrellas and/or deck chairs, paddle boards and boats. There a few cafes around serving food, drinks, snacks, ice cream etc...the water is pristine blue and great temperature. We stayed the whole day here and did not want to leave

Now that we have been I would place this beach behind Maria Pia (first) and Mugoni (second) but and it is a big but that is largely because we want the chance of shade when visiting a beach. Maria Pia and Mugoni are both backed by pine trees and that allows us to crawl in to shade when the sun gets too much! If you are a sun worshipper all day and every day then Lazzaretto will be fine but any one with young families for example may want to think before heading here for the day.

Lovely beach, especially in June or early July when it's not too crowded. Around Alghero you are spoilt for choice so, while this was not in our top3 it's still very worthy visiting if you're in the area

Skip Spiaggia delle Bombarde and go directly to Del Lazzaretto! A gorgeous beach with many cozy coves, splendid views, crystal clean blue waters, and a small, fun bar with great food and drinks. We visited almost all beaches around Alghero but Lazzaretto was an absolute winner!

This beach was not on my original list, but the people at our hotel recommended it because they said it was pretty, and it would be less crowded. It was our second beach of the day and we liked it very much.
Nice white sand, warm water, few waves. Good for walking.
Several cafes. We found one for lunch.
