Well worth the visit and really interesting. Combine this with a visit to Nuraghe di Primavera and you can get a reduced price entry for the two, which are contrasting archaeological sites from different periods

It was only when we turned on the (€3) audio tour did it really strike us how old this site was. 4200bc is a long, long time ago and I can't remember ever visiting a site with anything that ancient in it - at least that's man made. The guide walks you round a notable selection of the tombs, explaining... More

If you are interested in history or archeology, then this is a must, since these burial chambers date back to late neolithic period, which can not be seen that often.

Got a 6 euro combo ticket with the nearby nuraghe. We really liked this site! It almost reminds you of a pool table, and when you walk up to one of the indentations in the field, its a tomb with many rooms. Great place to take kids! Across the street from a huge vineyard estate. We went there in the... More

We got a bus from Alghero through fascinating lanes. A site much under visited but we were fascinated and welcomed.

Sardinia is full of hirstoric ruins and Agnhelu Ruju is one of them. This was a necropolis and you shall take some time to walk all around and see it. Interesting!

this is a fascinating site with subterranean tombs, some of which have engravings. Fun to crawl down in.

I reached there with a bicycle from Alghero and I think it was about 3,50 € to pay the entrance fee. You can walk around the filed and see some holes in the groud which used to be graves chambers some thousand years ago. Beside that there is not much else to do, neither in the near surroundings, because there... More
