Being on top of the basilica is a spectacular view of Piazza Dei Signori and the surrounding area. If you are lucky enough to go now, they have a very elegant bar at the top of it, serving wine, cocktails and small snacks. A must...More

Of course, the architecture was magnificent. We paid 3E to gain entrance and walk around the balcony which wraps all the way around. A bar is on the rooftop but we got there 5 minutes before it closed. It would have been very helpful if...More

We loved seeing this, one of the Palladio's most famous buildings. The jewelry museum inside was beautiful. There are many cafes around the building too where you can sit and examine the building.

It's not free but not expensive, the bar upstair opens until night (10 pm if not mistaken) so if the museums closed we can go here last. We don't need to sit at the bar to enjoy the view because the bar was only a...More

Impressive building that deserves a visit, especially if you are into architecture. Shame that it looked a bit empty the afternoon I went, it seemed as they were setting up all the things for any exhibition or cultural event. Nevertheless, both the building and the...More

We didn't want to pay for the exhibition going on at the time, not knowing that in order to enter the inside of the basilica, one has to pay for the exhibition. So basically we said we only wanted to pay to see the basilica,...More

Basilica Palladiana is the highlight of the Itinerario Palladiano which is well marked and has good signage in two languages at some buildings. You can get a map of it at the tourist office near the Olympic Theater which they sell for 1 euro or...More

How this place is not more famous in Italy is beyond me. The tall tower and the lovely white palace front two squares in the center of the old city. It is virtually devoid of tourists.
