The Piazza is downtown in the LTZ (limited transit zone). This means you can't drive down here and you wouldn't want to anyway. The fact you walk on streets hundreds of years old means you want to see it on foot to appreciate it. Bring your camera and appetite for lots of pictures and get food!

This square is a must-see during your visit to this beautiful old city. It has a quite a grand appearance and although we were there in the cold temperatures of January, there were many people wandering about. We could tell that this is where many things must happen during more pleasant weather. The location is perfect. It's a large oblong... More

Sit down, relax and watch the world go by in the Piazza dei Signori. The beer tastes wonderful as you cast your eyes over the Palazzo del Capitaniato and Basilica Palladiana. The Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio's work is alive and well today.

This is the heart of the historic center of the town of Vicenza and for sure it deserves a visit. The atmosphere is very elegant with a timeless charm. Seat in the Piazza and enjoy the view sipping a good espresso!

this is the historical center of Vicenza and is definitely worth a visit. the building in the center of the square is definitely remarkable. the square has a lot of restaurants, coffee bars and bars. good thing is that Vicenza receives less tourists than nearby Verona and Venice making it an interesting stop if you want to be away from... This is a must see when visiting Vicenza. In this square you can find the amazing architecture of Palladio, and some various bar where you can drink some wine, eat some good Italian food and meet people. The top of Basilica is also open to visit and have a drink with a breathtaking view.

We stayed in an apartment which overlooked Piazza dei Signori which is very pretty. It is only a short walk to all the sights of beautiful Vicenza.

This is in the heart of Vicenza and mustn't be missed if visiting the area. It is a large square with magnificent buildings, many of whom are Palladio buildings. The piazza houses restaurants, markets, and special events so there is often much to do. In general, it's very pretty to look at too!
