Very hard to find even with google maps . Eventually found but disappointed that there was no shops or museum or entrance. Gave it a five because enjoyed the challenge of finding it 😀 We enjoy visiting Basilicas and religious places and lived the Synagogues...More

we visited the synagogue Tuesday night, July 18th at night after dining nearby, and found it was guarded by armed army uniformed personnel. We visited the next morning Wednesday July 19th and found the Rabbi talking to a number of visitors outside the entrance doors....More

You can only see this from the outside. The most striking thing is the 24/7 protection provided by the Italian Army. Verona is a conservative place where skinheads have caused trouble.
