We came up here using the funicular and the kids loved that experience ! Once up, you get the most amazing view of Verona and can sit around for ages taking beautiful pictures ! Which is what we did ! :)

not much to see up here as far as the castle goes, it was detroyed by the austrians in 19th century, the orginal castle was here since the 13th century or so. ride up in the Funicular for a dramatic lift. great views of Verona...More

If you are coming from the shopping district or one of the main piazzas chances are you will be passing through Ponte Pietra as well. Great sight elevated above the rest of Verona. Loved it there, I would strongly recommend visiting it.

Listen to the stream of water from the bridge. It was great time to look around on the bridge and talk to people.

Well worth a trip. Go over the bridge, get the funicular for 2 € a lovely trip, and enjoy a fabulous view of Verona. We enjoyed a bottle of wine in the nearby bar restaurant too.

We took the funicular to the top and enjoyed and photographed the view. Shame there isn't anything else to do up there. All in all we spent there 20 mins.

Nice place if u want to see Verona from another perspective. A few stairs up to the top but everyone can do it. If u sit in a wheelchair u can take the elevator up:))) a bit disapointing is the threes disturbing the view

Take the time to make the trip up to the castle as you will be rewarded with a wonderful view of Verona. You don’t have to climb the hill as there is a funicular to take you up and down for €2.

We rode the funicular up to the castle and from the Piazzale the view of Verona is great. Unfortunately we did not check the hours of the castle and it was closed during siesta time.

Wasted a few minutes crossing back over the river to go to this amphitheatre. All shut with no way in. Couldn't even get a decent photo. Big shame. Don't bother unless you know that is open.
