We were lucky to have row seven on the floor, to see Aida. However, there is not a bad seat due to the ingenious Roman design, much like the Colliseum in Rome. The acoustics are phenomenal. Tip...even though it can be 90 degrees. During the...More

Costs 4 euros to get in but totally worth it. We went in whilst they were prepping and sound checking for a show and it totally inspired me (could feel the culture in it). You can climb up to their museum to see relics and...More

Just across the river this amazing place has performances of ballet and drama (loads of Shakespeare). Most enjoyable, although some traffic noise investiably leaks in.

The stage itself looks like any other, but wandering around the museum with the mosaics and columns was fun, with great views.

In the city that is famous for its medieval and renaissance sights, it is nice to see this small but rich and beautiful display of Roman artifacts. Especially nice touch is small model of what actually the theatre looked like in the ancient times. Interesting...More

I think we visited the theatre at a particularly bad time. It looked as though they were setting up for some event and most of the theatre was covered in scaffolding and construction materials. I don't know if this is always the case, however.

This theatre is extremely well kept up and in amazing shape. They actually offer concerts here during the summer months. I actually found it more impressive than the colosseum in Rome, since you can climb up and get a nice view of the surrounding city.

Difficult for me to say - we were only looking at the historic remains and museum during the morning. What the speed of entrance and seating is like for a concert or special facilities provided, I can't advise. Perhaps a... More
