It's no wonder that this is one of the most historic and picturesque squares in Italy: in antiquity, it served as a Roman forum; today, it contains many historic buildings, sculptures with a popular and colorful market overflowing with fresh fruits and vegetables.

Try to avoid the crowd and visit the square in the morning! You will see locals rushing to work but first drinking a creamy cappuccino, people unpacking and arranging their colourful goods, vegetables. We really liked it!

A beautiful piazza lined with cafes and gelaterie. A great place to stroll before or after dinner. There are market stalls during the day as well.

There is normally a market in this Piazza, but a great place to walk around, have a drink and just generally watch the world go by.

We visited Verona with school. This piazza it was just a piazza italiana specified in herbes. I loved the way that it is decorated and you should definitely go there if you ever been in Verona.

We sat in the sun at one of the outdoor cafes and it was lovely - especially after the cold weather we had the week prior. There’s a nice market to buy gifts and you can bargain!

Incredible buildings surround the piazza with ancient painted walls and sculptures in the roofs. The piazza has lots of restaurants to stop at for a drink or food and there are stalls selling food and clothing.

Hi we are not sure as we took a train from Milan to Verona. It's best if you find parking across the Elbe river as it is only a short walk to the Piazza. hope this helps you.
