Beautiful and charming small shop. We bought a wonderful mask, completely original and handmade. They have classical Venetian masks and many other designs. As one the previous reviews mentions: buying one of these masks is bringing a piece of art to your home!

After 3 days in Venice, going into what felt like *every* mask shop we passed (because I wasn't prepared and definitely naive), I walked into Alberto's shop as a last-ditch attempt because of a gator mask in the window and it was essentially directly below...More

I bought the Casanova mask with the tongue out about 20 years ago. It is the most art attention grab in my home. The quality, bright colors and unique faces are exceptional. I'm hoping to purchase more masks and hopefully will be able to visit...More

Alberto is a very pleasant artist, one of about 7 or 8 left in Venice, who makes carnival masks from scratch. When you visit his shop, you witness him making them, and you can buy a mask with the certainty it was made in Venice...More

By far the most traditional and beatiful venetian masks. You can see them working right by you, everything is handmade and hand painted. Their masks has been sold all over the world as they ship them to you if you are not able to carry...More

The proprietor makes the masks himself by hand. They are all gorgeous with many varied designs. Much better quality than the ones sold on the streets or in the tourist shops. He will wrap them for travel if needed.

The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the
Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six
sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest
neighbourhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the
markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops
display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San
