If you are serious about seeing how this glass is made and want to buy certified then go here. A lot of what can be bought in Venice isn't Murano glass at all. It's made in China.

We came here as part of an excursion and were amazed at the way they blow the glass and create the amazing glass artwork, the prices are incredibly high but these are works of art and are unique, well worth the visit.More

We found Stefano Morasso on the recommendation of our apartment owners, Stella Marina on Guidecca. It is a charming little studio and you can watch Stefano, a master glass blower from Murano at work. We bought several of his pieces which were really charming.
