This shop counters much of the unauthentic mask shops in Venice. This is the real thing. the paper mache masks are made here and painted here by a team of craftspeople. Very approachable genuine craftsman owner.

Stopping in every few days during a 10-day visit to Venice. Each time was a discovery, and the artists and owners were lovely. There are beautiful masks in Venice, but Papier Mache is magical and genuine Venice at its best.
