Visiting the workshop of Paolo is always a pleasure. It is truly a fascinating, historical place. He is a craftsman specialized in oars (remer and fórcole). Unfortunately today in Venice there are only 3 remora workshop in Venice. People like Paolo keep alive the traditions...More

Awesome experience. It was a pleasure meeting Paolo & spending time in his workshop. Beautiful memories, pictures & signed hand carved forcola which is now in our home & will be enjoyed forever ❤. A don't miss when in Venice.

We got lucky to stumble into Paolo Brandolisio's business. He is the only builder and supplier for all of the focole and oars for all of Venice. It is a great way to experience Venice.
